With credit becoming so important in today’s financial world many people experience problems with their credit files.  Below are listed the top ten reasons people indicate they have credit file problems.  Of the ten reasons the top three make a majority of the problems.

The number one reason for credit file problems was late or missed payments to creditors.  The second was that paid delinquent items have not been removed even though they are paid. And the number three top reason was problems caused by a failed agreement made with a spouse during divorce.
